Laurie Burt 1925 - 2015 practised and lectured in art for over 50 years, specialising in sculpture. He exhibited professionally from 1957 and taught fine art in various colleges becoming principle lecturer at Cardiff College of Art in 1964. After opening an art gallery in Famagusta, Cyprus, he returned to England in 1974 residing in York. His work has been acquired by various collections including the Tate Gallery and Arts Council of England and Wales.
