'Propaganda for Control'
was a purposefully naive scheme combining fine-art visuals with aspects of design in a systems /
behavioural context - the title stated the purpose of the exhibition. It was a well-intentioned,
altruistic concept for the creation of a better world. The language and behaviour of systems,
electronics and computers were not commonly known in 1970. I think I got carried away and learnt
more myself whilst creating the hardware than the exhibition successfully showed. The general
effort to organise ideas helped me clarify my mind, which in 1969 - 70 needed exactly that. A
2010 commentary on the system can be found
here (pdf).
